Riding Info

Have you picked up your poo?

Horse riders in urban areas are required to pick up horse manure. Lets not give the public a reason to dislike us. You need to return within 2 hours and remove manure but sooner is always better.

Road rules are being examined

A submission has been presented to national government to seek clarification of the road rules concerning horse riding. Fingers crossed the rights of horses on the road are made clearer. http://www.nzhorseriders.info/advocacy/council-plans-and-information/submissions-1/ caRequestforRoadRuleReview.docx
